Board Members
Our board members consist of advocates in our community that work in a variety of industries. Members are expected to contribute and engage in the planning of events, exhibitions, and fundraising – this is precisely where our networking skills can come in handy. Check out the list below for information on how to connect with your fellow board members:

Committees
Board committees are essential for providing guidance and direction. Without committees, a board would be rudderless and lost. Fortunately, we have six committees for our board members to serve on. These committees help to ensure that we are focused and on track. The Executive committee helps to set the overall strategy for the organization and oversee the Executive Director. The Nominating committee helps to identify and select new board members. The Exhibitions committee helps to curate our exhibitions. The AAAN committee helps to advocate for the artists in the Albany area. The Funding committee helps to raise money for our programs. And the Marketing committee helps to get the word out about our organization. So if you’re ever feeling lost, just remember that there’s a board committee for that.
