This exhibit from the Drug Enforcement Administration Museum is designed to open eyes to the science behind illegal drug addiction and the myriad costs of illegal drugs—to individuals, American society, and the world, and to provide food for thought on how each and every one of us can make a difference. Through artifacts, exhibits, dramatic historic content, science content, video and interactive stations, the exhibit provides a powerful look at one of the biggest issues facing America today. Open to the public Wed.-Sat. 10 am-4 pm through September 6. Groups can book 7 days a week. Exhibit admission is FREE

Ke'Chanbria Ball is an artist from Georgia who explores themes of race, culture, and color through large-scale portraiture in oil and acrylic paints. In a realist style, Ke’Chanbria Ball depicts humanizing mechanisms of the African American.
With a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University, Ke'Chanbria's work has been exhibited both locally and internationally in Georgia and China. The artist is currently a visual arts teacher at Lamar Reese Magnet School of the Arts.
Stop by the Albany Area Arts Council's Carnegie Library Gallery to experience the powerful and thought-provoking works of Ke'Chanbria Ball.

With a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University, Ke'Chanbria's work has been exhibited both locally and internationally in Georgia and China. The artist is currently a visual arts teacher at Lamar Reese Magnet School of the Arts.

After School Art Club on the last Tuesday of the month (no December or June-August classes) for elementary school students. These courses will begin with basic techniques such as shading, controlling tones, composition, and drawing methods, and progress to learning how to recreate an image on paper using pencils, charcoal, chalk pastels, and/or oil pastels. All 8 sessions for $120, or $15 for each individually. AMA members get a 20% discount. Multi-child-enrolled families get a 10% discount. Illegal drugs are an ever-present threat in American society. This exhibit from the Drug Enforcement Administration Museum is designed to open eyes to the science behind illegal drug addiction and the myriad costs of illegal drugs—to individuals, American society, and the world, and to provide food for thought on how each and every one of us can make a difference. Through artifacts, exhibits, dramatic historic content, science content, video and interactive stations, the exhibit provides a powerful look at one of the biggest issues facing America today. Open to the public Wed.-Sat. 10 am-4 pm through September 6. Groups can book 7 days a week. Exhibit admission is FREE
